Why just the other day we were in our local EB trawling the racks for good ol’ crusty retro stuff, when we chanced upon a second-hand copy of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. “Holy hell,” we exclaimed, noting the price tag. They only wanted a tenner for it. We know blokes who’ve lashed as much as $150 for this game.
So we got to thinking: What are the rarest and most valuable games around from the PS2 era?
Furthermore, where can find more stores that are ‘tard enough to throw them out for a pittance? We’re not gonna tell you about that last one ‘cos it’ll derail our whole scheme, but check out these old school bounties…

Rez
This game gave us epilepsy and we bit our tongues off and well, that made speed-dating a bit awkward. Great fun, though. This lights ‘n shapes arcade effort was all over the place back in the day, but is now for some reason totally valuable. You wouldn’t pick it – Rez goes for about $50, and the Dreamcast version will cost you almost $200. Yowsers, indeed.
