Frank and Louie is a cat born with two faces. Yep, you read right - two faces. So, that's two mouths, two noses, and two eyes … er, actually, make that … three eyes.
This freaky feline has just earned a place in the Guinness World Records as the longest living Janus cat ('Janus' is a Roman god with two faces).
Usually these Janus Cats only survive for a few hours. But given Frank and Louie just turned 12 years old, this cats pretty special even if its face - or faces - is that which only a mother and its owner, Marty Stevens, could love.
"It's funny because people walk up to him thinking it's a nice, fluffy white cat and they're walking up with a big smile on their face to pat him, like, 'Oh, what a beautiful cat' and I see a look of horror come over their faces when they actually see his face."
And, unfortunately for Frank and Louie, their freakish face comes with complications. Both noses work, but one mouth does not have a lower jaw and it sees out of only two of its three eyes, making Frank and Louie appear to be staring even when his other eyes are closed.
So despite Stevens claiming her pet is "very friendly" the facts don’t lie: Frank and Louis is a two-faced cat that sleeps with one eye open. Get it? … guys? ...
