A study conducted last month by Sony Pictures showed that seven out of 10 Aussies have had or know someone who has had an office fling. And contrary to popular opinion, co-worker canoodling can be a risk with benefits (er, in more ways than one, of course) with over 70 per cent of respondents claiming the office romance was more positive than expected.
So, if rather than working overtime at the office you’d rather work overtime with the office hottie in the bedroom, you better pay close attention to the following dos and don’ts of office dating – ZOO’s advice will help promote your co-worker relationship from platonic to plenty steamy.

DON’T flirt via email
Emails at work can be retrieved and/or monitored without you knowing it, so steer clear of commentary about your impending sexual future together or why you’re such a great lover otherwise there will be no future to speak of. This is a good reason to exchange digits and become pro’s at sexting.

DO use your feelers
Slow down buddy, not those on your hands – but your intuition to gauge her interest. This will be obvious just by observing her body …. language. If in meetings or at work outings she happens to sit next to you most of the time and stirs up a conversation, then that’s a sign she’s comfortable in your company and this is good. But be careful you don’t confuse office camaraderie with flirtation – this will lead you first class to ‘office-douche ville’ and your annual leave will only give you a couple weeks to hide.
